Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken thighs
- 2 medium onions
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 4 green chilies
- Peppercorn 1/2 tsp
- 6 Bay leaves
- Chicken Broth
- 2 cups of Faria Basmati rice
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3tbsp of gee
- Wash rice 2 or 3 times and soak it in fresh water for 30 minutes.
- Chop the green chilies, bay leaves, tomato, and onions.
- Cut the chicken in cubes and put 1/2 tsp of salt to marinate.
- Put the pan on medium flame and add gee.
- Add peppercorn and bay leaves.
- Add onions cook till golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste let cook for 2 to 3 min and add garam masala.
- Add tomatoes and chilies.
- Wash the chicken to remove any excess salt and add the chicken broth with 4 cups of water.
- Cook for 15 min on low flame.
- Add Faria Basmati rice and cover the pan and let it cook for 20 min on low flame.
- Serve with yoghurt.
