Chicken Pulao

Ingredients:

  • 1kg chicken thighs
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 4 green chilies
  • Peppercorn 1/2 tsp
  • 6 Bay leaves
  • Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups of Faria Basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3tbsp of gee

Method: 

  1. Wash rice 2 or 3 times and soak it in fresh water for 30 minutes.
  2. Chop the green chilies, bay leaves, tomato, and onions.
  3. Cut the chicken in cubes and put 1/2 tsp of salt to marinate.
  4. Put the pan on medium flame and add gee.
  5. Add peppercorn and bay leaves.
  6. Add onions cook till golden brown.
  7. Add ginger garlic paste let cook for 2 to 3 min and add garam masala.
  8. Add tomatoes and chilies.
  9. Wash the chicken to remove any excess salt and add the chicken broth with 4 cups of water.
  10. Cook for 15 min on low flame.
  11. Add Faria Basmati rice and cover the pan and let it cook for 20 min on low flame.
  12. Serve with yoghurt.
